We are approximately 40% into the season and there are distinct patterns forming which begin to tell managers how well their team will finish this season.
Early forecasting will allow teams that are out of the top 4 or play off positions enough time to rethink their strategies and training regimes and make the necessary changes to improve team results. Even teams in the top 4 or play off positions should be constantly monitoring their performances in an effort to continue to improve using CPD. The main indicator to use in forecasting is how effective the team is relative to the points on offer. In the Premiership, after 14 games played and 17 points won Burnley are 41% effective, the winners last season were 79% effective. In the Championship, after 18 games played and 20 points won Derby County are 37% effective, the winners last season were 65% effective. In League 1, after 19 games played and 17 points won Brighton and Hove Albion are 30% effective, the winners last season were 70% effective. In League 2, after 19 games played and 26 points won, Bradford City are 46%effective, the winners last season were 62% effective. The use of CPD and TLLAL will improve team results within weeks, not months. Early forecasting and the use of CPD and TLLAL will = success for your club. |
